Bring the Heat
Bold flavor from western China
If you love food with real backbone, the hot and spicy menu is your home base. These dishes draw on the great spicy traditions of Szechwan and Hunan, where chili, garlic, ginger and savory bean sauces come together for deep, layered heat — not just hot, but full of flavor. And because every dish is cooked to order, you decide how far to take it: mild, medium or fire-breathing.
Look for the dishes below, or ask us to prepare almost any chicken, beef, shrimp or tofu dish in a spicy Hunan or Szechwan style.

How hot can you handle?
Can you adjust the spice level?
Yes. Every spicy dish is cooked to order, so we can make it mild, medium or extra hot. Just tell us your preference when you call.
What is the difference between Hunan and Szechwan?
Both are spicy western styles. Szechwan is known for its numbing, chili-and-peppercorn heat, while Hunan tends to be straightforwardly hot and garlicky. Try both and find your favorite.
Can other dishes be made spicy?
Most chicken, beef, shrimp and tofu dishes can be prepared spicy on request. Ask when you order and we will add the heat.
